We’re currently looking for an Assembly Operative to join a busy and welcoming timber manufacturing team based in Rochdale. You’ll be working in a fast-paced production environment, helping to assemble timber components used in the construction industry.
This is a great temp to perm opportunity with consistent hours and an early finish every Friday!
Working Hours :
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Pay :
- £12.21 per hour – rising to £12.71 on 1st April
- Ongoing, stable work
What you’ll be doing :
- Assembling timber components used in construction
- Measuring, cutting, and positioning materials accurately
- Using hand tools and power tools safely
- Following simple technical drawings and job sheets
- Operating production machinery
- Maintaining high quality standards
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy
What we’re looking for :
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or production (helpful but not essential)
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
