Skilled Labourer
Location: Batley
Rate: £16.75 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: 5th May
Duration: Temporary 2 - 3 weeks
We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer to support an external refurbishment project in Batley. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor and potentially secure ongoing work.
Skilled Labourer Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day site tasks
- Supporting the removal of bay windows and installation of new casements
- Carrying out associated works including:
- Installing lintels beneath windows
- Beading and patch plastering
- Fitting window boards
- Basic ceramic tiling
- General site preparation and clean-up
- Supporting finishing works as required
Skilled Labourer Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or site labouring preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting heavy materials
- CSCS card desirable, but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
