Construction Labourer

£16.75 per hour CIS

We are seeking experienced construction labourers to assist with an external refurbishment project in Batley. The work will involve supporting tradespeople with various tasks, including site preparation, general repairs, and finishing works. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable contractor and gain ongoing work.
Construction Labourer Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting with stripping roof overhangs and clearing debris
- Supporting brickwork and render repairs
- Removing and carrying materials, including timber, windows, and cladding
- Mixing and preparing sand, cement, and other materials
- Cleaning and preparing surfaces for repair work
- General site labouring, lifting, and moving materials
- Assisting tradespeople with joinery, plastering, and finishing tasks
- Maintaining a tidy and safe work area
Construction Labourer Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or site labouring preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials safely
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
