Baler Machine Operative
Taskmaster Resources are looking for a Baler / Light Machine Operative for our client based in Bacup.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Start: October
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours
- Sunday: 6:00am – 6:30pm
- Monday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 6:00am – 10:00am
Role Responsibilities
- Operating the automatic baler/compactor safely and efficiently.
- Operating the baler from the control panel and monitoring its performance.
- Managing material stocks within the bunker.
- Changing ancillary items such as bale wire when required.
- Monitoring the condition of the baler and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
- Keeping the baler and surrounding work area clean, tidy and safe.
- Taking and recording accurate baler data for reporting purposes.
- Carrying out general light machine operation and associated tasks.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
- Completing relevant paperwork and reports.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
Previous experience operating machinery or a baler is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
