Location: Littleborough (Rochdale)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm | Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

On behalf of our client based in Littleborough, we are recruiting a number of Manufacturing, Machine and General Operatives to join their busy production team with immediate starts available.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company that values its employees, provides full training, and offers genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

The Role

Successful candidates will work as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team, carrying out a variety of production and machine operating duties to support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operating production machinery safely and efficiently (full training provided)
  • Loading and unloading machinery
  • Assembly of products using hand and power tools
  • Sanding, finishing and quality checking products
  • Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
  • Following production schedules and work instructions
  • Carrying out manual handling and general operative duties
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
  • Supporting colleagues across different production departments when required

About You

We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude who enjoy hands-on work.

Previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous, although not essential:

  • Manufacturing
  • Production
  • Machine Operating
  • Assembly
  • Warehouse
  • General Operative work
  • Factory or Industrial environments

We also welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in labouring, construction, mechanics, joinery, engineering or other practical, hands-on roles.

You should:

  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have a good work ethic
  • Be comfortable carrying out manual and physical tasks
  • Be willing to learn new skills
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Have a strong awareness of health and safety
