Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Stockport (with prior induction in Rochdale)
Start Date: 5th January
Contract Duration: 3-month ongoing contract


We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming roofing project (flat roof) at a large distribution centre for a well known Brewery. Once this project is completed, the role will transition to a pub refurbishment project.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the roofing project at the distribution centre, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
  • Manage and supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare progress reports and attend site meetings as required.
  • Manage the transition to the pub refurbishment project after the roofing work is completed.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the client’s head office for induction and project follow-up.

Site Manager Requirements:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Working at Heights Training
  • Asbestos Awareness Certification
  • Proven experience managing similar projects (roofing, refurbishments)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
