Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Stockport (with prior induction in Rochdale)
Start Date: 5th January
Contract Duration: 3-month ongoing contract
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming roofing project (flat roof) at a large distribution centre for a well known Brewery. Once this project is completed, the role will transition to a pub refurbishment project.
Site Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the roofing project at the distribution centre, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
- Manage and supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare progress reports and attend site meetings as required.
- Manage the transition to the pub refurbishment project after the roofing work is completed.
- Coordinate and liaise with the client’s head office for induction and project follow-up.
Site Manager Requirements:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid Certificate
- Manual Handling Training
- Working at Heights Training
- Asbestos Awareness Certification
- Proven experience managing similar projects (roofing, refurbishments)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
