Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Oldham
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £18 – £21 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm | Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm
About the Role
We’re looking for a Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering company based in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team, producing high-quality fabricated components for a variety of industries.
You’ll be involved in all aspects of sheet metal work, assisting in the fabrication and finishing of parts to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Working with sheet metal of various thicknesses

Operating machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, and rollers

Bending, folding, cutting, and assembling sheet metal components

Finishing and grinding to a high standard

Reading and working from technical drawings

Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
About You

Previous experience in sheet metal or light fabrication work

Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail

Good understanding of workshop health & safety

Flexible, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team
